Outdoor opportunities without barriers

Welcome to Chairbound Hunters

Chairbound Hunters is a nonprofit organization that helps people who are wheelchair-bound, blind, or terminally ill experience quality hunting in beautiful southeast Wyoming.

Hunters are supported by local volunteers and landowners, with outings adapted to each participant’s needs. Hunts may take place from accessible pickups or ground blinds.

How to become involved

Apply for a hunt

Call or email Chairbound Hunters. After learning about your circumstances and experience, a volunteer will explain the next steps and any Wyoming Game and Fish requirements.

Volunteer or donate

Volunteers help with transportation, access, meals, equipment, and the many details that make a safe and memorable hunt possible.

Offer hunting access

Landowners in southeast Wyoming can help by allowing carefully coordinated access for a participant and the supporting team.
